A dramatic headline appears in your feed. A suspicious image starts circulating. Someone makes a claim that sounds convincing, but something does not quite add up.
What do you do next?
Disinformation: The Final Combat puts you in the role of an investigator, challenging you to examine information, recognise manipulation and decide what to trust. Instead of learning about misinformation through another lecture or long list of rules, you learn by making decisions yourself.

Your mission: investigate before you believe
Travel across Europe through five case files set in Ljubljana, Amsterdam, Vilnius, Tallinn and Brussels. Along the way, you face realistic information problems and choose how to respond. The game contains 20 branching scenario steps, 25 case-quiz questions and a timed Feed Scanner, where you have to make quick decisions about content appearing in a simulated social-media feed.
You take the role of an investigator who checks claims and helps other people make sense of questionable information.

What skills can you test?
As you work through the cases, the game tracks six competences:
- Source Verification
- Bias Recognition
- Emotional Resilience
- Media Diversity
- Fact-Checking
- Inoculation
You will encounter manipulation techniques, verification tools and concepts such as anchoring bias and affective polarisation, with explanations and a 20-term glossary available when you need them.
There is also a challenge built in: you complete a short assessment before starting the cases and the same assessment at the end, allowing you to see whether your score has changed.
Try the game, test your instincts and see how well you recognise the techniques used to influence what we believe and share online.
